Cabin 10043 · MSC World America

Cabin 10043 is an Infinite Ocean View on Deck 10 of MSC World America, and it sits far forward. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

The nearest is the forward port lift bank, and that is 9 cabins away down the corridor. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Of the 166 cabin positions on Deck 10, this is the 20th from forward.

The Infinite Ocean View grade runs 215 square feet. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

It suits light sleepers.
