Cabin 12479 · Carnival Celebration

Cabin 12479 is a Balcony (category 8D) on Carnival Celebration.

Cabin 12479 is a Balcony on Deck 12 of Carnival Celebration, and it sits aft of midship. There is some movement here, more than midship and a good deal less than the ends. Most people never think about it. We score it 7 out of 10 for steadiness.

It is 5 cabins along the corridor to the lift bank. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 167th cabin position of 202 along Deck 12.

It is booked as a Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and better placed for getting around than 79 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
