Cabin 12544 is an Ocean View Balcony on Oasis of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 12544 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 12 of Oasis of the Seas. You are far forward. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 3 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.

Nothing sits close by: it is 14 cabins to the forward lift bank, starboard, the nearest thing of its kind. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. Oasis of the Seas carries four lift banks on most decks, forward and aft, port and starboard. Each is a glass fronted lobby with call buttons, deck buttons and a landing that doubles as a meeting point. The forward banks serve the theatre and the suite decks, the aft banks serve the dining rooms and the Boardwalk. Worth knowing: the cars themselves are quiet. The lobby is not. What a cabin beside a lift bank actually hears is people waiting, talking and calling to each other, and it peaks at dinner sittings and again after the late show. Two or three cabins along the corridor is. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 11th cabin position of 187 along Deck 12. Deck 12 also has Card Room on it. There are 326 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is quieter than 93 per cent of the 2,836 cabins on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and further from the action than most. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
