Cabin 14011Z · Brilliant Lady
Deck 14 · Virgin Voyages
Cabin 14011Z is a Cheeky Corner Suite - Biggest Terrace on Deck 14 of Brilliant Lady. You are well aft. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 1 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.
The Net sits two decks up, roughly 1 cabin along the ship from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about it is 3 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.
Of the 119 cabin positions on Deck 14, this is the 118th from forward. That puts you right at the aft end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away.
The Cheeky Corner Suite - Biggest Terrace grade runs 753.42-847.8 square feet. At suite level you are buying more than square feet. Suites almost always carry priority boarding and priority disembarkation, and the higher grades on most lines add a restaurant, a lounge or a sun deck of their own. Junior and entry level suites often get none of that, so it is worth checking what this particular grade includes rather than assuming the whole list comes with the word.
On loyalty, Sailing Club counts completed voyages rather than nights or grade, so RockStar Quarters move you along at exactly the same rate as an Insider cabin. The room is the whole of what you are paying for here, which is unusual and worth knowing. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.
Against the rest of the ship it is livelier in a swell than most of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
