Cabin 16011 · MSC World America

Cabin 16011 is an MSC Yacht Club Duplex Suite on Deck 16 of MSC World America. You are far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

Nothing sits close by: it is 15 cabins to the forward port lift bank, the nearest thing of its kind. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 13th cabin position of 164 along Deck 16.

An MSC Yacht Club Duplex Suite gives you 495 square feet. The balcony adds another 65 on top of that. At suite level you are buying more than square feet. Suites almost always carry priority boarding and priority disembarkation, and the higher grades on most lines add a restaurant, a lounge or a sun deck of their own. Junior and entry level suites often get none of that, so it is worth checking what this particular grade includes rather than assuming the whole list comes with the word.

MSC counts Voyagers Club points by experience rather than by night, and Yacht Club is the top rung: 800 points for a sailing under five nights, 1,500 for five to nine and 2,000 for ten or more, against 200, 500 and 700 down at Bella. They are credited per person, not per cabin, and a free upgrade does not lift you, so you earn on the experience you actually booked. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is livelier in a swell than most of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
