Cabin 1694 · Liberty of the Seas

Cabin 1694 is a Spacious Ocean View (category 3M/4M) on Liberty of the Seas, 211 square feet, with a half-moon ocean view window. Two twin beds convert to a Royal King. There is a double sofa bed. It sleeps up to 2. The bathroom has a shower.

Cabin 1694 is a Spacious Ocean View on Deck 10 of Liberty of the Seas, and it sits well aft. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 2 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.

On the ship's plan Windjammer Cafe is on the deck above, about 2 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet comes out at 7 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 131st cabin position of 135 along Deck 10.

A Spacious Ocean View gives you 211 square feet. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is quieter than 84 per cent of the 1,974 cabins on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and further from the action than most. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes and anyone who feels motion badly.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
