Cabin 1906 is a Spacious Ocean View (category 3M/4M) on Liberty of the Seas, 211 square feet, with a half-moon ocean view window. Two twin beds convert to a Royal King. There is a double sofa bed. It sleeps up to 2. The bathroom has a shower.

Cabin 1906 is a Spacious Ocean View on Deck 12 of Liberty of the Seas, well aft. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 3 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.

Johnny Rockets is immediately nearby, about 0 cabins away. Handy, though worth knowing about if you sleep lightly. The 1950s diner on deck 12: red booths, jukeboxes and servers who break into a dance routine on a schedule. Burgers, fries and shakes for a flat per person charge. It survived the 2020 refit, despite reports at the time that it had been replaced. Worth knowing: the dance routines are the distinctive noise, sudden and amplified and repeated through the service. Peaks at lunch and again 6pm to 9pm. Quiet scores 4 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Of the 37 cabin positions on Deck 12, this is the 35th from forward. That puts you right at the aft end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away. You share Deck 12 with Vitality at Sea Spa, Lime and Coconut, Running Track and Movie Screen. There are 54 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is short and rarely busy.

The Spacious Ocean View grade runs 211 square feet. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 1,974 cabins on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and further from the action than most. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes and anyone who feels motion badly.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
