Cabin 5249 · Carnival Celebration

Cabin 5249 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior (category 4S) on Carnival Celebration.

Cabin 5249 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior on Deck 5 of Carnival Celebration, and it sits far forward. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are right beside Spa Treatment Rooms, some 1 cabin along the corridor. Handy, though worth knowing about if you sleep lightly. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 14th cabin position of 81 along Deck 5. Deck 5 also has Spa Treatment Rooms, Thermal Suites, Cloud 9 Spa and Salon on it. There are 285 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

It is booked as a Cloud 9 Spa Interior. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,681 cabins on board and better placed for getting around than 79 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers.
