Cabin 5468 · Carnival Celebration

Cabin 5468 is an Interior (category 4B) on Carnival Celebration.

Cabin 5468 is an Interior on Deck 5 of Carnival Celebration, midship. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. You are near the middle of the hull, where the ship does the least moving. In rough water that matters more than most people expect. We score it 10 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

It is 4 cabins along the corridor to the lift bank. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 8 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 65th cabin position of 81 along Deck 5. Deck 5 also has Spa Treatment Rooms, Thermal Suites, Cloud 9 Spa and Salon on it. There are 285 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

It is booked as an Interior. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is as steady in a swell as any cabin on the ship and better placed for getting around than 98 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers, travellers prone to seasickness and families running back to the cabin several times a day.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
