Cabin 6138 is an Ocean View Balcony on Oasis of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 6138 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 6 of Oasis of the Seas, forward of midship. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

Nothing sits close by: it is 13 cabins to Vitality Fitness Center, the nearest thing of its kind. Quiet, at the cost of a few minutes each way. The Vitality Fitness Center on deck 6, the gym at the forward end of the ship with cardio machines, free weights and a studio for classes. Worth knowing: early mornings bring dropped weights and treadmill rumble. Cabins directly below the weight floor notice it from about six in the morning. Quiet scores 5 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about it scores 9 out of 10, so almost everything is a short walk.

Counting from the bow, it is the 8th cabin position of 187 along Deck 6. Deck 6 also has Schooner Bar, Vitality Fitness Center, Focus Photo Gallery and Carousel on it. There are 223 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,836 cabins on board and better placed for getting around than 96 per cent of them. It suits families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
