Cabin 8514 is a Royal Loft Suite on Enchantment of the Seas. There is a double sofa bed.

Cabin 8514 is a Royal Loft Suite on Deck 8 of Enchantment of the Seas, far forward. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

Windjammer Cafe sits on the deck above, roughly 1 cabin along the ship from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet scores 5 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Of the 88 cabin positions on Deck 8, this is the 2nd from forward. That puts you right at the forward end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away.

It is booked as a Royal Loft Suite. At suite level you are buying more than square feet. Suites almost always carry priority boarding and priority disembarkation, and the higher grades on most lines add a restaurant, a lounge or a sun deck of their own. Junior and entry level suites often get none of that, so it is worth checking what this particular grade includes rather than assuming the whole list comes with the word.

There is a loyalty argument for this room as well as a comfort one. Crown and Anchor counts a suite night as two cruise points against one for a standard room, so the same week aboard moves you up the tiers twice as fast. Book it solo at the double occupancy fare and it counts three a night. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 1,142 cabins on board and livelier in a swell than most of them. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes and anyone who feels motion badly.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
