Cabin V15 is a Junior Suite on Deck 11, the Verandah deck, of Carnival Elation, far forward. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Studio Fitness is on the deck above, about 6 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 8th cabin position of 20 along Deck 11. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

Suites almost always carry priority boarding and priority disembarkation, and the higher grades on most lines add a restaurant, a lounge or a sun deck of their own. A word on loyalty, because the grade misleads people here. Carnival Rewards replaced VIFP on 1 September 2026 and it counts what you spend, not the nights you sail or the room you book, so this suite earns at the same rate per dollar as an interior does. Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and further from the action than most. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
