Celebrity Xcite is the sixth ship of Celebrity Cruises' Edge class and is planned as the final vessel of that series. Like all of her sisters, she was ordered from Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire, France, and she is expected to enter service in 2028. At roughly 129,500 GT, she is planned to close out a class that began in 2018 with Celebrity Edge and has been produced steadily at the French yard ever since.
Xcite is planned with methanol-ready dual-fuel propulsion, following the lead of her immediate predecessor Celebrity Xcel and aligning with the wider cruise industry's shift toward lower-emission fuels. She is expected to carry the class signatures that have defined every Edge-class ship, including the cantilevered Magic Carpet platform and the Infinite Veranda staterooms.
As an upcoming vessel still some years from delivery, much of Celebrity Xcite's operational profile remains unannounced. Her godmother, build cost, home port, and initial deployment had not been finalized as of mid-2026, and her detailed specifications may yet evolve before she is completed. Her port of registry is planned as Valletta, Malta, consistent with the rest of the Celebrity fleet. Celebrity Xcite is under order and awaiting construction and delivery.
