MSC Bellissima is a cruise ship operated by MSC Cruises, delivered in February 2019 as the second ship of the Meraviglia class. Built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire, France, she measures about 171,600 gross tons and 316 metres, with 2,217 staterooms across 19 decks.
Her interior is organised around the Galleria Bellissima, an indoor promenade roughly 80 metres long covered by an LED ceiling that cycles through skyscapes and seasonal displays. Bars, boutiques and restaurants line the promenade, which functions as the ship's main street and connects the forward theatre to the aft atrium.
Bellissima introduced ZOE, described at launch as the first virtual personal cruise assistant installed in cabins at sea: a voice-activated device able to answer questions about the ship and its services in several languages. Other features include a dedicated Cirque du Soleil at Sea lounge, the MSC Yacht Club suite complex, an extensive spa and thermal area, an aft aqua park and separate clubs for children and teenagers.
The ship was christened in Southampton on 2 March 2019, with Sophia Loren serving as godmother, the latest in a long series of MSC ships she has named.
Bellissima has operated across several of MSC's markets, including Mediterranean summer seasons, Northern Europe, and winter deployments in the Arabian Gulf, sailing alongside her sister MSC Meraviglia and the larger Meraviglia-Plus pair.
