Silver Moon

Silver Moon is the second ship of Silversea's Muse class, a near-sister to Silver Muse that continued the ultra-luxury line's push toward a richer and more varied onboard experience. Built by Fincantieri in Italy and delivered in 2020, with her formal christening delayed to 2021 by the global pandemic, the vessel carries the class's roughly 596 guests within an all-suite configuration that preserves Silversea's characteristic sense of space and personal service.

Silver Moon's most notable contribution to the fleet was the debut of the line's S.A.L.T. program, an acronym for Sea and Land Taste, an immersive culinary concept designed to connect guests with the food, drink, and traditions of the regions the ship visits. Through a dedicated restaurant, bar, and hands-on kitchen, S.A.L.T. turned dining into a form of destination enrichment, deepening the gastronomic identity that has long been central to the Silversea brand.

Every accommodation aboard is a butler-serviced suite, most with a private veranda, and the ship carries the multiple open-seating restaurants and spacious public rooms introduced with the Muse class. Silver Moon was christened with Gaia Gaja, of the celebrated Italian winemaking family, serving as godmother, an especially apt choice for a ship built around the celebration of food and wine.

Registered in Nassau, Bahamas, Silver Moon sails a wide-ranging schedule of luxury voyages that has included seasons in Asia, Alaska, and beyond, splitting her deployment between the Asia-Pacific and North America. She remains in active service, a well-regarded member of the Muse-class core of the Silversea fleet and the ship that gave the line one of its most distinctive culinary hallmarks.
