Silver Muse

Silver Muse is the lead ship of Silversea's Muse class, a vessel that marked a significant evolution in scale and sophistication for the ultra-luxury line when she entered service in 2017. Built by Fincantieri in Italy, the ship reflected Silversea's intent to expand the onboard experience while holding fast to the all-suite, small-ship intimacy that has been the brand's signature since its founding. At roughly 40,700 gross tons and carrying only about 596 guests, Silver Muse offered one of the most generous space ratios afloat, a deliberate counterpoint to the industry's trend toward ever-larger ships.

The class's defining innovation was its dining. Silver Muse introduced an expanded array of restaurants and culinary venues to the fleet, giving guests a broad choice of open-seating options rather than a single main dining room, an approach that reinforced Silversea's reputation for gastronomy and set the template for the sister ships that followed. Every accommodation aboard is a suite, the majority with a private teak veranda, and each comes with the butler service that is standard across the line.

Silver Muse was christened by Costanza Lefebvre d'Ovidio, a name tied to the founding Lefebvre family whose members have served as godmothers to several ships across the fleet, reflecting Silversea's origins as an Italian family enterprise before its later absorption into Royal Caribbean Group.

Registered in Nassau, Bahamas, and sailing under the call sign C6DC5, Silver Muse serves as a classic ocean-going luxury cruise ship on worldwide itineraries, including seasons in the Mediterranean. She remains in active service, the first of a quartet of Muse-class ships that would come to form the modern core of the Silversea fleet.
