Cabin 11500 · Utopia of the Seas

Cabin 11500 is an Ultra Spacious Ocean View on Utopia of the Seas, 260 to 300 square feet.

Cabin 11500 is an Ultra Spacious Ocean View on Deck 11 of Utopia of the Seas. You are far forward. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 275 cabin positions on Deck 11, this is the 1st from forward. That puts you right at the forward end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away. You share Deck 11 with Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar. There are 396 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

The Ultra Spacious Ocean View grade runs 260-300 square feet. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is livelier in a swell than most of them and better placed for getting around than 91 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
