Cabin 12677 · Utopia of the Seas

Cabin 12677 is an Interior on Utopia of the Seas, 150 to 172 square feet.

Cabin 12677 is an Interior on Deck 12 of Utopia of the Seas, aft of midship. There is some movement here, more than midship and a good deal less than the ends. Most people never think about it. We score it 7 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are 3 cabins from Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. The deck 12 level of Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar, the upper floor of the two storey restaurant looking down into the room below. Worth knowing: the upper level is the quieter of the two. Chair scrape carries downward rather than up, so the cabins above it notice very little. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 211 cabin positions on Deck 12, this is the 159th from forward. You share Deck 12 with Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar. There are 328 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

The Interior grade runs 150-172 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
