Cabin 7222 · Carnival Panorama

Cabin 7222 is a Balcony (category 8B) on Carnival Panorama.

Cabin 7222 is a Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Panorama, and it sits far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 140 cabin positions on Deck 7, this is the 15th from forward.

It is booked as a Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and livelier in a swell than most of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
